Stop your skirt and blouse campaign agenda against me before I can visit your constituency again - H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to Bongo DCE.



 H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has asked the DCE for Bongo Hon. Peter Ayinbisa to stop his skirt and blouse campaign agenda against him or else he will not visit the Bongo constituency again.

There were earlier plans scheduled for the president to visit the Bongo constituency for the commissioning of the Balungo bridge which he came and cut sod for construction over a year ago.

But the hopes of the DCE Hon. Ayinbisa Peter was shattered when the president declined his plan and call by reinstating that he will only visit his constituency if only the DCE forbids his skirt and blouse campaign bid against him.


It was earlier reported by GhanaWeb that the DCE for Bongo does not include the president who doubles as presidential candidature for the NPP in his campaigns as posters and banners of him without the president was and can still be seen.

The DCE realized his MPship ambition can only be achieved if he doesn't involve the party colours in his endeavors since Bongo is a strong hold for the NDC and whose seat had never been won by any party aside the NDC.

But it seems the big wigs of the NPP are not happy with his action even the president hence his decision to decline the commissioning call.

The member of parliament for Bongo, Hon Edward Bawa who doubles as the parliamentary candidate for the NDC in the Bongo constituency has posted a write up on his Facebook wall where he sought to educate the DCE for Bongo Hon Peter Ayinbisa on the seating arrangements in the parliament house. It's interesting to note that the above mentioned DCE also doubles as the parliamentary candidate for the NPP and he has been referred by many as the desperate being in this year's politics who seek to win power at all cost using both fair and foul means .

A video circulating on social media has been sighted by Goldennewsgh which is purported to be a mini meeting organised by the member of parliament Hon Edward Bawa. In the video, the former DCE can be seen expressing his dissatisfaction on how the then speedy rate of development in the Bongo constituency under the then NDC government has come to a stand still.  He has pointed out how several projects in the Constituency has been abandoned by the NPP government. Abandoned E BLOCK at Azeemnamoa shs. The former DCE further expressed his displeasure on how the disabled funds are distributed among NPP cohorts instead of the disabled in society.
